Why one tier, not two?
We tested a separate £6 per-group event SKU and collapsed it into Pro for simplicity. If you only need Pro for a single wedding or festival, subscribe for one month and cancel - we'll auto-prompt you to cancel when you finalise the group, and remind you monthly that you're subscribed. The product is built to be unsubscribed from.
Pricing questions
Because adoption matters more than ARR right now. We'd rather a million people use EvenRound free than ten thousand pay. The core splitting flow stays free forever, with no daily caps. Pro is for group owners who want extras (reminders, branding, audit) and is funded by subscription, not by paywalling basics.

Subscribe for the month, finalise the group, cancel. We'll automatically email you when the group is finalised with a one-click cancel link. We also send a monthly reminder that you're subscribed and how to cancel, so you don't forget. The point of EvenRound is not to trap you in a subscription you've forgotten about.
We're a small team running on Vercel and Supabase. The cost-per-active-user is low when you don't have a sales team or 30 SaaS subscriptions. Pro subscriptions cover infrastructure long-term.
No. The pledge: creating groups, adding expenses, splitting, and settling will be free forever, with no daily caps. We've all been on the wrong end of a paywalled splitter and we're not doing that.
